Wine Club FAQ

There is no fee to join any of our wine club levels.

Members receive up to 4 complimentary tastings per visit, complimentary tastings and discounts on any purchases are dependent on the club level they have joined. Members must be present as benefits are nontransferable.

Although we release wines on multiple occasions throughout the year, our wine club allocations are released in the spring and late summer, typically March and late August.

Our club levels allow choice for Mixed allocations instead of Red only. If you choose a Mixed level, you will typically receive one third of your allocation in white wines (2 bottles for Bonfire and 3 bottles for Inferno).

Customization is an optional benefit of Inferno membership. Our winemaking team creates premium allocations composed of our most desired and limited production wines for our Bonfire membership level, as well as for Inferno members who do not wish to customize their allocations. Email notification will be sent a minimum of two weeks prior to any credit card charges, events and shipments related to our twice-yearly wine club allocations. If we are unable to process your allocation due to a declined credit card, we will contact you to update your account. You can also update your credit card information, as well as billing and shipping address information, by accessing your member account at sparkmancellars.com or by contacting us via Customer Service.

Members have 6 months to pick up their allocations. If you are unable to pick up your allocation, please contact us to arrange for shipment of your wine. Any allocations not picked up within 6 months of release will be donated to charity.

If you have chosen to have your allocations shipped, we will not ship any allocations without first receiving approval from you regarding a ship date that will allow for you to be available to accept the package while also protecting your wine from any detrimental exposure due to excessive temperatures.

If your shipping address is out-of-date, please contact our customer service team to have your wine redirected to the correct address. UPS will make three consecutive delivery attempts before returning your wines to us. Any additional shipping costs associated with resending the wine is the sole responsibility of the member.

Since member benefits activate immediately upon initiating membership, an initial one-year minimum membership commitment is required and there will be a charge of $50 if the membership is cancelled prior to your first anniversary in the club. After one year, you may cancel your membership at any time without penalty by contacting our Customer Service team.

Your privacy is important to us and we only use your information for shipping, billing and direct communication with Sparkman Cellars. We do not sell or share customer information.
Inferno Customization and Anniversary Benefit FAQ

Inferno level club members whose account is current and in good standing are eligible to customize their wine club allocations.

No. Customization is an optional benefit of Inferno membership. If you simply wish to receive the default wine allocation created by the Sparkman winemaking team, no action is required on your part.

Inferno members will be given a minimum of two weeks to customize their allocation ahead of any allocation release. You will receive a confirmation email before each shipment with a deadline date for any changes you would like to make.

Inferno members will be sent an email noting which wines their default allocation will include at least two weeks before we process their allocation. This email will include a link to the member’s online account where the member can customize their allocation, if desired, with just a few simple clicks, up until the final date allowed for customization that is noted within this email. Additionally, Inferno members may contact Sparkman Cellars within the customization timeframe by phone (425.398.1045) or email (wineclub@sparkmancellars.com) for assistance with customizing their club allocation. Please note that we are unable to customize allocations at our tasting rooms during this time period.

Typically, red wines released since the previous allocation and that are part of Inferno default allocations are made available for customization. Also, we may occasionally provide other additional options that include library or other previously released wines. Although we strive to offer the greatest amount of flexibility possible for customization, not all wines will be available and we do reserve the right to limit quantities of some wines due to highly allocated production quantities, etc.

The Sparkman Cellars winemaking team will choose three exceptional white wines for each release that will be included for all Inferno Mixed level default and customized allocations. The remaining nine red wines are customizable. Although white wines may not be customized ahead of processing Inferno Mixed allocations, if the member wishes to substitute any white wines post-processing, they may do so by contacting us by phone, email or in our tasting rooms when they pick up their allocation, as long as the substituted wines are of equal or greater value than those included in the original allocation.

Yes, you can add additional wines to your allocation from the available customizable wine list. This is a great way to save on shipping by taking advantage of the FedEx Ground shipping that is included with your Inferno allocation. So stock up and maximize your savings. If you wish to add wines not included in the customizable wine listing, please contact us for assistance with your order.

Inferno members whose account has been active and in good standing for at least one year will, on an annual basis, receive 50% off retail pricing on up to 2 cases of any current release wines* during their Inferno membership signup anniversary month. This is good for 1-24 bottles and up to a $1,320 annual savings (even 24 bottles of Evermore)! These members will be contacted at the beginning of their anniversary month with a unique promo code that allows them to make their discounted purchase. Members will have the entirety of the month to make their purchase through our webstore, by phone, email, or in person in our tasting room.
This benefit is non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts and is good for a single purchase of current release wines during their anniversary month.
