Tasting Room FAQs
Do you require reservations?
We encourage making a reservation to guarantee you a table at your preferred time. However, we do accommodate walk-ins whenever possible if space and staffing allow. Our last tasting is one hour prior to closing. Reservations can be made HERE or by calling us at 425.398.1045.
How much time should we allocate for a tasting?
Our tasting experience allows for plenty of time to relax and is for up to 75 minutes. Please note that there is a 15 minute grace period for all scheduled reservations before you forfeit your table so please call us if you are running late to see if we can accommodate a later arrival. We require your entire party to be present before seating you at a table.
How many guests can you accommodate for a tasting?
For the enjoyment and comfort of all our guests, our maximum number per group is 6 (yes, this means babies, toddlers, designated drivers, your crazy mother-in-law, non drinkers – we don’t judge – but if it has feet – it needs a seat). We appreciate your understanding that we are not able to host larger groups in our tasting room. Please contact us at 425.398.1045 ext. 2 if you have any questions.
Can you accommodate large groups?
Due to limited space and table sizes, as well as striving for the best experience possible for all our guests, we host groups of up to six guests, (yes, this means babies, toddlers, designated drivers, your crazy mother-in-law, non drinkers – we don’t judge – if it has feet – it needs a seat). We appreciate your understanding that we are unable to host larger groups in our tasting room, including parties split between multiple tables. Please call us at 425.398.1045, ext #2, with any questions. If you are interested in hosting a larger group via a private event, please complete our Event Inquiry form HERE or email us at events@sparkmancellars.com.
Do you host private events?
Yes! With over 7,000 square feet of versatile indoor private event space, this will be the ideal location for corporate gatherings, social celebrations and wedding festivities. Please complete our Event Inquiry form HERE or email us at events@sparkmancellars.com.
What if the number of guests for my reservation has changed?
Please call us at 425.398.1045 so we can assist with updating your reservation. If the number of guests has increased, we will do our best to accommodate the request, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to add additional guests to your existing reservation.
Can I bring in outside food or beverages?
Due to Washington Health Department regulations, outside food or beverages of any kind are not permitted. We do offer light bites as well as non-alcoholic beverage options. To view our current food and wine offerings, please click HERE.
Do you have outdoor seating?
We offer outdoor patio seating when weather permits and is available on a first-come, first served basis to those with existing reservations. If joining us for a reservation and you hope to be seated on our patio, please dress warmly and bring waterproof jackets in case of wet and/or windy weather.
Can I bring my dog?
We LOVE dogs! However, due to Washington Health Department regulations, we can only seat guests with furry friends on our patio, whenever it is open. Please call us to see if our patio is open and we can accommodate you and your pup. Service dogs are always welcome, both inside and out.
Are kids allowed at the winery?
Yes, as a family run winery, we welcome you and your loved ones of any age. All children are part of the total party/reservation count and must remain with the party at all times. Also, anyone under the age of 21 years old must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times and may not be seated separately from adults. We kindly ask that children are supervised in a manner that allows for an enjoyable experience for all our guests. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
Are there additional days that I can pick up a previously placed order outside of your usual tasting room hours?
We understand that sometimes our hours of operation are not ideal for some to pick up their wine orders. We’re happy to schedule an appointment time for you to pick up your wine based on staffing availability at our winery on days we are closed to the public. You can email us at info@sparkmancellars.com to set up an appointment time. For pickups outside of our business hours, please give at least 24-48 hours notice before you wish to pick up your wine. Unfortunately we are unable to provide tastings at the time of pickup on days we are closed.
